Villa Sarabanda is situated on a corner site of a quiet cul-de-sac in Los Pinos, a residential suburb of Calpe.
Calpe sits in an ideal location on the south east coast of Spain, easily accessed by the A7 motorway and the N332 national road that runs from Valencia to Alicante.
The national road really gives you the kind of holiday feeling as it leads you to Calpe along the Mediterranean coastline up from Alicante.
The Villa is an easy 10 minute walk from the Sea / Beach and the local supermarkets. Calpe town is five minutes drive - passing the salt-fields on the way, where flamingo's can be seen.
There are some excellent golf courses in the
vicinity; the renowned Don Cayo golf course is 15 minutes drive away. Water world and Terra Miticha are approx. 25 minutes by car. The Sierra Bernia mountain
range that rises to over 1000 meters
is well worth exploring being a
walker’s paradise. A drive of approximately forty minutes leads to incredible panoramic views within this Nature Reserve famous for it's spring water and abundance of wild flowers.
The walk to the sea and beaches is a very pleasant stroll along pine clad lanes passing interesting gardens on the way - you will come to a charming small bay within approximately ten minutes, which has a small reef -that is wonderful to dive from. Within this small area there is a good supermarket with a respectable 'Deli' A little further still along the sea front promenade will bring you to one of Calpe's main beaches. There are a variety of good restaurants and bars within walking distance of the villa.
Getting here
The nearest serving airport to Calpe is Alicante airport, which is within an easy one hours drive from the villa. There are numerous budget airlines serving Alicante. Murcia & Valencia airports are within a two hours drive from the villa, using the same fast autroute road.
We do recommend the use of car hire when staying at the villa, - it is best to shop around for 2 or 3 quotes first.
